Promo Bag Project Update

I thought it would be fun for everyone to see some of my promotion bags being put together. For more information on this project, click here.

Here I have all sorts of little baggies spread out ready to be filled with crafty love, cards, samples, and inspiration!

Just a fraction of the cards we've received! Not to mention all the great stickers, postcards and coupons!

Hooray for samples! If you'd like to get involved, contact us at e positive designs. Thank you and be positive!

The Promomobile

In the spirit of indie promotion and the crafty community, e positive designs is proud to announce the beginning of our Promomobile Project!

Here's the idea:

Inspired by the Etsy Bumper Sticker Challenge and some of the great stickers we've received as part of our promo bag project, we've decided to turn our entire car into one giant form of independent promotion.

For a small donation to the project, contributors can send us a sticker of their choice promoting whatever they like. It could be their band, their store, or even a charity they support. We will place the sticker on the car, working from back to front, with the intent of covering the entire car.

Now tell me that wouldn't get some attention!

Also, for your donation you will receive an original 5x7 print featuring your addition to the project. It will be signed and numbered on the back, and no two will be alike... the person who sent the 2nd sticker will get a picture of a much different looking car than say the 102th person! And of course, it will be updated on this site as well!

Be a part of history!

The Car Stats:

Our fine automobile is a '93 Mazda MX6. Not exactly a Rolls, but she runs well, and we don't plan on changing cars any time in the future (see fine print). She is driven within a three state area on a regular basis and also has been known to take the occasional cross-country. She spends most of her time in urban areas, perfect for lots of exposure, and drives to many gallery hops, art festivals, concerts and more!

No one will be able to look away!

The Fine Print:

Stickers of any kind will be accepted, as well as car magnets. Stickers will remain on the car until:

a) the sticker falls off (after all, paper stickers will not hold up well to the elements. We recommend Sticker Junkie - below, for really nice stickers. Hat tip to emmcreations)

b) the car no longer runs. Though she runs well now, poop happens. If that happens (knock on wood that it doesn't), the project will continue with the replacement car. We are committed to spreading the crafty love!

c) in the case of car magnets, there is a small chance someone may swipe them (such bad karma). For this project, I'd say the chance is slim since I don't really see someone picking at every one to see which are magnets, but there's always a chance. Send magnets at your own risk - but if something happens, you're more than welcome to send a replacement.

d) We reserve the right to not use stickers that are vulgar, profane, or in general bad taste. But it would have to be in REALLY bad taste... we have a pretty good sense of humor. But you might want to check with us first when sending political stickers.

To reserve a spot on the car, and get more info visit the e positive designs shop.

Thank you and be positive!
